I am a freelance web developer currently based in the Granada province of Spain. I specialise in creating database driven websites using a combination of MySQL and PHP.

My introduction to website design and development was through the creation of my first website, YoungFools.co.uk which was an extreme sports website aimed at young sports enthusiasts. However, due to a lack of marketing, it never hit off the ground in a big way and has now been terminated.

As a web developer with only two years experience, I already have quite an eclectic portfolio of high standard projects, including both client work and my own experimental work. I have developed this website as a showcase of my work, the services I provide, the experience and skills I offer, and to illustrate my approach to web design and development.

With an extensive knowledge of self-taught PHP & MySQL web development, together with a commitment and clear understanding of web site accessibility; I started to develop my own fully customised Content Management Systems. As well as coding the websites, I have also designed many graphic elements, especially with my own projects.

As I have said, I am completely self-taught thanks to my commitment to each and every project. When there is a problem or there is something I can’t do, I will do my best to research as much as I can to complete the job at hand.

Throughout my career as a Freelancer, I have carried out a number of diverse commissions which are presented in my portfolio and underpin my passion for Interactive design and technology and my hardworking and conscientious character. However, these projects have enabled me to build on my understanding and most importantly, have given me the desire to learn so much more.
